Second day on the job went rather well. I just continued working on some of the same things from the day before, so nothing really new there.

I asked the team if they would be interested in going out to lunch with me. I'm so tired of eating sandwiches and pasta and had a coupon to eat at Wagamama - buy one, get one free. To my surprise, all but one of them came with me. It was so fun hanging out with them and getting to know them better. Everybody gets along so well! I love it! There is no cattiness going on and everybody is just at ease with one another working together as a real team. It's great! I'm not used to this, but I could get used to it! ha.

The working environment at Blackbaud is great. They have a cute little kitchen that is stocked with coffee/tea cups, plates, cutlery, etc. Somebody is always boiling some water on the kettle for tea, bringing goodies in, etc. Today, a lady (I assume) baked a cake and brought it in to share. I thought that was so sweet! And it was delicious! It was vanilla cake with chocolate frosting and little sparkley things on it. Like a big cupcake! Speaking of cupcakes, I really miss Sweet Mandy B's. They have the best cupcakes ever there! I wonder if I can convince somebody to overnight me one? ha. Kidding.

Anyway, right after work, I took the tube over to visit Chris in Kew Gardens. Nick had invited us to go out for some pizza at Pizza Express (yummm!). I created my own pizza with chicken, artichokes, and goat cheese. Yumm. It was so delicious! Now, I have another coupon for buy one get one free! ha. I'm sure I'll use that soon!
