4 January 2008

Met up with Lisa from CEA today. She gave me an Oyster card (travel card for the public transport system) and a London A to Z guide... along with more information and some snacks. :) I later found out that other companies didn't give their people Oyster cards, so I felt super special. It even had $14 on it. :)

Afterwards, I went to a local HSBC branch to make sure my account was open and to see if I could transfer over some funds. Luckily, the account was open, but unfortunately, I couldn't transfer any funds since I didn't have my passport with me. Ah well.

Went searching for a Financial Times and something to eat while Mike was meeting up with a friend of his for lunch. Ended up hanging out at a chain restaurant called Pret a Manger and had a sandwich and a banana.

Mike cooked again, except this time he made homemade pizza with artichoke hearts and chicken. My favorite! Yumm.
